Who We Are
Retreats in Italy was born from the desire of two longtime friends, Ann and Camelia, who met while working in Italy and going through their own transitions while navigating every day life challenges in the country. Their mission is to build a supportive community of people interested in attaining a higher understanding of themselves while exploring magnificent magical places in and around Italy.
What We Do
Camelia and Ann promote activities that foster profound internal shifts in order to live life with more clarity, authentic expression, passion and joy.
Their retreats are unique because of the diverse offerings often hard to find both in Italy and in English. Mediumship and intuitive development training, creative intuitive art, connecting to the soul and souls purpose, and love and relationship coaching are some of the highlights. Retreats are kept small in size in order to tailor the experience to each individual.
Ann Macoul
Ann Macoul is an international evidential medium, spirit artist and teacher, and she is the founder of Heart of Angels, a spiritually based business in Rome, Italy. Her training includes trance healing and spirit art, Arthur Findlay College, Advanced consciousness studies at The Monroe Institute, Usui Reiki Master Certification, Julian Jenkins Mediumship and Teacher Training Accreditation, and Certified Sound Healer with Tony Nec and Sound Healing Academy.
Through her interactions with spirit she's able to help others on their path to reach a sense of peace and understanding of why they are here and what is needed for them to move forward with greater ease and grace.
During the retreats Ann offers Soul readings, meditations and counseling as well as psychic, mediumship, spirit art classes and Crystal soundbowl resonance healing. It is her intention that you come away with a greater sense of clarity on the issues you are facing and that you feel confident, empowered and inspired to move ahead on your life path.
Camelia Lambru
Camelia Lambru discovered a passion for organizing events while working in the MICE sector (International Meeting and Conferences). She specializes in design and creation of incentive trips, motivational events, experiential training, team building, and meetings and conventions throughout Italy and abroad. She is a life coach and business coach, and has collaborated with congressional agencies, banks and international institutions for over 20 years. Officiating, planning weddings and creating the Italian Wedding Awards has been a passion for over ten years, and in 2020, she created IWA, Wedding Coaching Academy, a path of personal and professional growth, but above all a network support for professionals in the sector, involving experts from all regions in Italian.
'If wedding planning is a passion, coaching is my calling' Thanks to her knowledge of NLP (neuro linguistic programing), Coaching the Quantum Mind and Spirituality, in 2020, during the pandemic, she decided to help women overcome separation, mourning, betrayals and to take back their lives, live a life of joy and open up to love again.

Our Partners
Pamela is our wellness and nutritional coach and the founder of Melaiko Nutrition. She was born in Italy and spent her childhood in the United States. She graduated with a degree in arts and literature after attending colleges in Italy and Scotland. Besides her passion for literature, art and foreign languages, she started developing a passion and interest for a healthy lifestyle. She has a deep understanding of how food can change our lives in terms of energy, quality of sleep and self love. She is a certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant through AFPA, American Fitness Professionals & Associates. Her mission is to help women develop a better relationship with themselves and their bodies. During our retreats she offers group as well as one on one nutritional counseling and cooking classes for health and wellness.
